Through Greenpeace Pacific, I am working with two youth activists from the Solomon Islands and Fiji who are representing PISFCC - Pacific Islands Students Fighting Climate Change. They have come all the way to NY to endorse an advisory opinion on climate change from the International Court of Justice, a long hard fight across all Pacific Island communities who are facing devastating climate change impacts. And to build a traditional Vaka boat here in the hopes to sail it to the Netherlands for the final vote. As part of a global day of action, we will hold signage in front of the United Nations before the UN General Assembly in September
